UCLA junior Kyle Brown and La Costa Canyon CA junior Garrett Brown both cleared 16-6 (5.02m), with Kyle taking second over his younger brother based on fewer attempts at the height, in the men's elite division at the Vaulter Club Vaulter Magazine Big Red Barn Meet in Menifee, Calif. Kyle Brown hadn't competed since Feb. 29 at the MPSF Indoor Championships in Seattle, Wash. Garrett Brown equaled his personal best from March 7 at the Mt. Carmel Field and Distance Meet, his last competition before Saturday's event.
